CommuniTeam: A national non-profit organization dedicated to building healthier communities across the United States. Their work focuses on collaborative initiatives and resource sharing.
Connecticut Assets Network: A Connecticut-based group led by Greg Ryan, LCSW, CPP, committed to community development through asset-based approaches. The network promotes positive youth development by fostering strong and healthy families and communities.
Healthy Cities: An international organization focused on improving the quality of life within cities and communities worldwide. Their concerns include community organizations, transportation, housing, jobs and economic development, women’s organizations and gender issues, the environment, NGOs, religious and faith communities, health, and more.
Healthy Communities: An organization primarily concerned with communities in the United States. Their mission is to stimulate and encourage collaborative action and efficient use of resources from multiple sectors and community systems. The primary focus of the Coalition is to promote the initiation, development, and sustainability of initiatives that result in healthy people and healthy communities, particularly those with a focus on the well-being of families and children. They promote these initiatives at the local, regional, state, and national levels. This aligns with public relations efforts to improve community well-being.
