The Community Psychology Network received the Digital Librarian’s Award in August 1998. This award recognizes the site as an exceptional resource for professionals, students, and researchers in applied psychology and social work.
The site, created by Matthew J. Cook, offers a wealth of resources, including links to listservs, professional associations, journals, graduate programs (see admissions/gradschool), course materials (see courses), employment opportunities, and funding sources. It serves as a valuable hub for anyone involved in or interested in the helping professions.
The Digital Librarian’s Award, presented monthly by the Argus Clearinghouse, recognizes outstanding online guides. Award winners demonstrate excellence in organizational schemes, resource description and evaluation, and guide design. The awards are based on criteria outlined in the Argus Clearinghouse Rating System.
